Our members spoke, and we listened. We heard your desire for more fruity and spicy strains, and for strains that raise your life experience to a level of excellence. We turned to our grower members, who upgraded your favourite strains to fulfil your desires.

Our branch managers and bud tenders worked together to name these genetically-curated strains. They chose to celebrate the natural beauty of South Africa, and the heritage that has brought our country to a point in which cannabis lovers can celebrate their right to enjoy Seknd Nature’s premium cannabis.

We’ve created strains that can be enjoyed in pre-rolls, dry herb vaporisers, and bongs, to ensure that our members get ultimate enjoyment out of our bespoke buds.

Oranjezest

The slopes of Table Mountain boasts one of Cape Town‘s most affluent and beautiful suburbs, Oranjezicht. It is also one of the city’s oldest historical sites. Three centuries ago, it was a farm that overlooked, and produced fruits and vegetables for, South Africa’s first city.

We took two of our members’ favourites strains; Twisted Tangerine and Motor Dawg genetics, and combined them to create a powerful hybrid. When naming this 50% Indica, 50% Sativa strain, Seknd Nature staff members chose to honour its opulent effects and zesty citrus flavours, while relating these properties to the luxurious beauty and history offered by the Oranjezicht area. From this relation, the hybrid name Oranjezest was born.

Oranjezest delivers uplifted, focused and creative effects that are ideal for daytime use, especially when enjoying one of our lounges as your remote office. It’s also mood-enhancing and energizing, so it’s great for stress, depression, and anxiety management.

The taste profile features a powerfully zesty citrus overtone, with a smooth, sweet, and earthy undertone. The earthy citrus, in combination with the sweet and floral vapours, create a vibrantly scented and flavoured bouquet of cannabis smoke.

Kirstenbosch Spice

One of South Africa’s most beloved botanical gardens lies nestled in the gentle valley of Kirstenbosch. Here, horticulturalists passionately nurture rare and endangered plant species, and display them in the public gardens for the enjoyment of locals and tourists alike.

This 70% Sativa, 30% Indica strain inspired our staff members to come up with the name Kirstenbosch Spice because Seknd Nature’s passion for cannabis plants is in alignment with Kirstenbosch Garden‘s tender love and care for all things botanical.

Providing a luminous Sativa-leaning experience, Kirstenbosch Spice boosts mood and stimulates mental activity, sparking a creative flow state while also gently relaxing your body. This strain induces munchies, so have your favourite snacks ready. The attractive bud features purple and pink flowers with bright orange pistils, and offers floral and fruity aromas.

Fynbos Flame

South Africa is world-renowned for its natural beauty and biodiversity. Our fynbos is celebrated internationally for its exquisite appearance, and is as much a beloved part of South African culture, as premium cannabis is a beloved part of Seknd Nature’s culture.

This mildly Indica-dominant cultivar (60% Indica / 40% Sativa) was given the name Fynbos Flame by our bud tenders and managers because it imparts a beautifully relaxing high, similar to being in amongst South Africa’s inspiring and entrancing fynbos.

Allow your body to enjoy deep and powerful relaxation, while your mind eases into a state of creative mental calm. The light purple flowers and bright orange pistils are as attractive as their fruity and floral scent, making it a pretty gift of nature. This indica-leaning hybrid can be arousing, and appetite-stimulating, making it a perfect addition to date night with your partner.

Berry flavours predominate, with a hint of lavender and sweet sherbet, for a clear and sweet smoking experience.

The mountains around our Plattekloof and Kalk Bay branches also offer opportunities for admiring fynbos in their natural habitat, so we encourage you to experience withdrawing this excellent hybrid from these branches, before or after completing a hike in the area. Our skilled Seknd Nature bud tenders can create a pre-roll for you to heighten your fynbos adventure.
