Somerset West

Somerset West · Western Cape

Inside House of Levi at Paardevlei, serving the Helderberg — Somerset West, Strand and Gordon’s Bay. This line doubles as the collective’s central WhatsApp.

The room

The neighbourhood

Somerset West is the collective’s Helderberg room, inside House of Levi on De Beers Avenue at Paardevlei — the redeveloped precinct between the N2 and the coast. It exists so members from Somerset West, Strand, Gordon’s Bay and Firgrove have a club of their own instead of a forty-minute drive into the city, and it is the closest branch for Stellenbosch as well.

Paardevlei is easy by car — a minute off the N2 at Broadway Boulevard, with open precinct parking at the door. Hours are business-day-shaped (weekdays to 18:00, Saturday mornings, Sundays off), and the branch line doubles as the collective’s central WhatsApp, so it is also the right number for general membership questions from anywhere in the country.

Yes — Paardevlei is about 20 minutes from Stellenbosch down the R44/N2, making Somerset West the natural home branch for members in the Winelands until a closer room opens.
Where exactly is the club in Paardevlei?
Unit G03, House of Levi, 12A De Beers Avenue — the Paardevlei precinct just off the N2 at Broadway Boulevard, with open parking at the door.
Why does the Somerset West number answer general questions?
The branch line doubles as the collective’s central WhatsApp, so it fields general membership questions from anywhere — as well as Helderberg collections.
Do I need to be a member to visit?
Yes. Seknd Nature is a private members’ collective under the Cannabis for Private Purposes Act, 2024 — we do not sell cannabis to the public. You apply online in a few minutes, management reviews every application personally, and once approved you collect at any branch. Membership is 18+ with ID verification.
Is this legal in South Africa?
The collective operates on a private, non-commercial membership basis under the Cannabis for Private Purposes Act, 2024. Cannabis is cultivated, held and shared among verified adult members for private use — nothing on our site or in our branches constitutes an offer to sell cannabis to the public.
