This page covers four related formats. 510-thread cartridges are pre-filled 1 ml glass tanks that screw onto a universal battery — keep the battery, swap the cart. Disposables are all-in-one devices with the battery, coil and oil sealed in — nothing to charge, screw on or refill. Sublingual oils are dropper bottles for precise, no-inhale dosing. Concentrates — rosin, hash, shatter, budder, diamonds and kief — are the dab-rig end, sold by the gram.
Cartridge or disposable — which suits you
Judge value on cost per ml, not the sticker price.
Choose a disposable if you want grab-and-go simplicity, are trying cannabis vaping for the first time, or want to sample a strain flavour without committing to hardware. Modern units are rechargeable via USB-C, so you drain the full tank instead of wasting oil — and a 2 ml unit usually beats a 1 ml one on value.
Choose a cartridge plus battery if you vape regularly: you replace only the empty tank, which works out cheaper per ml over time and produces less e-waste. Run it at the lowest voltage that still produces vapour (roughly 2.4–2.8 V); higher settings scorch the oil and waste terpenes. Batteries and vaporizer hardware live in Accessories.

Distillate, cured resin or live rosin
The extract type sets the flavour and the price.
Distillate is the workhorse: clear, potent, near-flavourless on its own, so terpenes are added back for taste — reliable and the most affordable per mg. Cured resin keeps more of the plant’s original terpene profile for a fuller, strain-true taste at a mid price. Live rosin is solventless, pressed from fresh-frozen flower, and sits at the top for flavour and price.
First-time buyers usually start on a terpene-added distillate cart and move up to cured resin or live rosin once they know which strain flavours they enjoy.
Chase the terpenes
Gassy, fruity, earthy or sweet — the extract type decides how much of the strain’s character survives.
Concentrates — solventless vs solvent, and what “live” means
A rice-grain-sized dab is a sensible first dose.
Solventless extracts use nothing but ice, water, heat and pressure — ice-water hash pressed into hash rosin. Solvent extracts (BHO) wash the resin out with butane, then purge it; that gives you shatter, budder and most diamonds. BHO usually tests a little higher in raw THC; solventless usually wins on terpene character and a cleaner label.
Live means the plant was flash-frozen fresh instead of dried and cured, locking in volatile terpenes — live rosin is the flagship: low yield, premium input, maximum flavour. These are potent, so build up slowly.

Metabolites accumulate in fat tissue and can stay detectable on a standard South African workplace screen for days to weeks, and safety-sensitive roles in mining, transport, healthcare and security often use stricter cut-offs. Storage and small maintenance
Upright, room temperature, out of the sun.
Store carts and disposables upright, at room temperature, out of direct sunlight — never on a hot dashboard. If a cart clogs (charged battery, no vapour), warm it in your hand for 60 seconds to loosen the oil, then pull slowly at low voltage. A spent disposable holds a lithium battery — take it to an e-waste drop-off, not the bin. Keep concentrates cold, sealed and dark; keep oils upright with the dropper clean.

What battery do the cartridges fit?
Any standard 510-thread vape battery. If you don’t have one yet, you’ll find batteries and vaporizer hardware under Accessories.
Disposable vs cartridge — which should I pick?
Disposables are the grab-and-go option with zero setup. Cartridges are cheaper per ml over time and let you keep one battery — better if you vape regularly.
What’s the difference between rosin and shatter?
Live hash rosin is solventless — pressed from ice-water hash with heat and pressure, keeping the full terpene profile. Shatter and budder are solvent (BHO) extracts, typically higher in raw THC but less terpene-rich.
How do I use concentrates?
Most concentrates are dabbed with a rig or an electronic dab pen. A rice-grain-sized amount is a typical dose — start small, they’re potent.
My cartridge is leaking or clogged — how do I fix it?
Leaks usually come from heat or storing the cart on its side — keep it upright at room temperature. For a clog, warm the cart in your hand for about 60 seconds to thin the oil, then take a slow, gentle pull at low voltage.
How long does a 1 ml cart last?
Roughly 100–200 draws depending on your device and draw length — most members get 1–2 weeks from a 1 ml cart.
